When fragments of a green crystal scatter in the city and turn people into destructive monsters, Narda embraces her destiny as Darna-the mighty protector of the powerful stone from Planet Marte. Jane De Leon stars as Narda Custodio / Darna, with Joshua Garcia, Zaijian Jaranilla, and Janella Salvador also starring. This series includes genres of Superhero, Science fantasy, Adventure and Action. This series is shot on locations of Jose del Monte, Bulacan and Metro Manila, Philippines.
It is based on Darna by Mas Ravelo and Nester Redondo, written by Hannah Rhocellhynnia H. Cruz Jann Kayla C. Mendoza Jasper Emmanuel A. Paras and directed by Chito S. Roño Avel E. Sunpongco Benedict Mique. This is the biggest project and production of ABS-CBN . This series is replacing the most famous and 7-year run FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
